When you book The Celebration Stitch, the entire Envy Her Singapore studio is exclusively yours. Jeannie designs the session around your occasion, your group, and your guest of honour — choosing a project that every guest can complete and personalise in one sitting. The atmosphere is warm, social, and celebratory from the moment your group walks in.

Good news — almost everything is provided by Envy Her Singapore. All fabrics, lace, tulle, sewing materials, design sheets, and tools are included. Here is all your child needs to bring:

• Comfortable clothing — nothing too precious, as fabric and thread have a way of finding their way onto clothes
• Closed-toe shoes — required in the studio at all times for safety around pins and scissors
• A water bottle — sessions run up to 3 hours and we want everyone to stay hydrated
• A small snack — optional but welcome for longer sessions
• An open mind and a big imagination — the most important things on the list

Everything else — machines, mannequins, fabrics, lace, threads, scissors, pins, and design materials — is on us.

Does anyone need sewing experience? Not at all. The Celebration Stitch is designed for complete beginners. Jeannie guides every guest from their very first stitch. The project is chosen to be achievable for everyone in the group, regardless of experience.

How far in advance should we book? We recommend at least 2 weeks in advance to allow time to discuss the project, personalisation details, and any custom touches for the guest of honour. Popular dates (Saturdays, school holiday periods) fill quickly — book early.

Can we bring food and celebratory drinks?Yes — the studio is yours and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Jeannie provides light refreshments. We ask that drinks are kept away from the sewing machines during the making stages.

Can the guest of honour have a special or different project? Yes — and we encourage it. The guest of honour's piece is always personalised differently from the group's: a different colour, a special lace detail, a name or date in fabric marker, or a finishing touch agreed with the host at booking.

How many guests can join? The Celebration Stitch is designed for groups of 4 to 12. For groups larger than 12, contact Jeannie to discuss options — larger groups may require more facilitators.

What does everyone take home? Every guest takes home a finished, personalised handmade piece — the project agreed at booking. They also receive an Envy Her Singapore keepsake card noting the occasion, date, and what they made. Gift wrapping is available on request.

Can we book at a venue other than the studio? Possibly — contact Jeannie to discuss. Off-site sessions require suitable tables, power points, and space for machines. A site visit may be needed before confirming an off-site booking.
