Free Radical and Negative Ions
Free radical is an especially reactive atom that has one or more unpaired eletrons; especially those that are produced in the body by natural biological processes or introduced from an outside source (as tobacco smoke, toxins, or pollutants) and that can damage cells, proteins, and DNA by altering their chemical structure.
Even if we were to eat and live healthily, there are many external sources of free radical that we are exposed to. Free radicals lack an electron because of the oxidation process, but having constant exposure to negative ions supplies a free radical with electron(s). A free radical requires negative ion(s) to become stable which is essential for better living and wellness of our body.
